Counselling for Relationships

Relationship Therapy

Relationship therapy supports folks in resolving conflicts, improving communication, and enhancing their existing connection. The therapy space is a safe and supportive environment to collaborate with your therapist, who acts as a neutral mediator to faciliate discussion, offer guidance, and provide insight.

Apart from an intake session with each member of the relationship individually, relationship therapy takes place with all members of the relationship present with the therapist. The therapist is accountable to the dynamics and relationship between individuals, rather than to any one person in the dynamic. The focus is on open and honest communication and a deepening of empathy and understanding of each other and the patterns that can be explored.

Relationship therapy is for partners at any stage of their relationship, and can support you in addressing an acute crisis or be a consistent tool to strengthen an already healthy relationship. Relationship therapy invites folks to enter with a willingness to actively participate in the process and work together towards positive change.
